Technical characteristics

The NZ type belt elevator is designed for transporting granular, fine-grained and dusty cargo in a vertical direction to a height of up to 60 m. The transported product is grain (wheat, corn, sunflower), mixed feed (meal, cake), as well as industrial products.
The traction load-bearing body is a belt with attached buckets. To achieve a given productivity, taking into account the characteristics of the product, the optimal belt speed and bucket pitch are selected.
According to the feeding method, it can be direct and reverse. With the same parameters, direct feeding gives 100% of productivity, and reverse - 50%.

To ensure the efficient operation of the elevator, a "squirrel wheel" is installed in the shoe to reduce product sticking and belt slippage. Hatches are installed to monitor the loading and operation process, and inspection hatches for cleaning.

A regular drum or a lined drum is installed in the head of the elevator - all due to operating conditions, product and customer wishes.

Intermediate sections - the elevator shaft - are made of 2mm or 3mm sheets with flanges, and inspection sections are used to install buckets and install the belt. Also, for safety, membrane explosive discharge devices are calculated for each case and installed.

If we take into account belts, then depending on the lifting height, productivity, drum diameter and type of product, different types are used from conventional BKNL to oil-resistant TK, EP or KALE.

Buckets are usually made of plastic to reduce the load on the belt in emergency situations or metal. In some cases, buckets are used that are specially made according to the customer's conditions.

The belt conveyor can be made self-supporting with service platforms and a ladder.

For safety and control, belt slip sensors, speed control and support are used.
