Low-speed bucket elevator

Bucket elevator

Detailed description
Technical characteristics

The low-speed elevator of the NT type is designed for careful transportation of granular, fine-grained, dusty and hot cargo in a vertical direction to a height of up to 30 m. The transported product is grain (seeds), food products (flakes, nuts), mineral fertilizers (ammonium sulfate), granulated products, etc.

The traction load-bearing element is a chain (or two chains) with attached closed buckets. To achieve a given productivity, taking into account the characteristics of the product, the optimal chain speed is selected, but not more than 1 m/s.

The special shape of the buckets and the elevator head reduces product beating and fully meets the declared productivity, and also does not require additional cleaning from product residues.

Technical features:

 - made of structural, galvanized or stainless steel;

  • shafts and sprockets are made of high-strength steels St45 and St40X using volume hardening or high-temperature hardening;
  • ease of installation and assembly of the elevator;
  • installation of lining made of special steel or polymer plates;
  • it is possible to manufacture a self-supporting elevator with service platforms;
  • installation of membrane explosive discharge devices;
  • equipment with motor-gearboxes (NORD, Motovario, PGR);
  • solutions in elevator automation: control cabinets, sensors of backflow, speed and chain breakage.
