Сhain conveyor is steeply inclined

Scraper conveyor

Detailed description
Technical characteristics

The scraper chain steeply inclined conveyor of the KSCP type or the "goose neck" conveyor moves the product along a horizontal-inclined trajectory, with a sharp transition of the horizontal part into an incline with an angle from 10 to 85 degrees. Transportation products - grain and compound feed products (wheat, corn, sunflower, meal, soy).

The conveyor body is made of stainless, galvanized or structural steel, and to form the product flow and support the idle branch of the chain, a double bottom with a thickness of 2-3 mm is installed.

Very often, steeply inclined conveyors are installed together with a bypass funnel for automobile or railway unloading, which complicates maintenance, so we combine the tension section with the drive section, and leave the end section at the bottom. All shafts and sprockets are made of St45 or St40X steel, and we use bearing assemblies from well-known manufacturers with an extended service life. Thanks to the trapezoidal screw and nut, the chain is constantly tensioned, and the ultra-high safety margin ensures reliability before destruction.

A special corner section is used to transport the product from the horizontal part to the slope, which reduces wear on the scraper and chain, and hatches are provided for maintenance and cleaning.

Sensors for backlash, chain breakage, and shaft rotation will complement automation and make conveyor control convenient and safe.
